June 12, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Saturday, repeating until June 26, 2021
A Virtual Workshop Series for LGBTQ+ Folks
HopeWorks’ Self-Care & Social Justice Project is excited to host a six-session virtual workshop series to explore imbalances of power and the spirit of revolution through poetry, music, visual arts, literature, theatre, history, ethnography, and philosophy. Begins Saturday, May 22, 2021.
One of HopeWorks’ guiding principles is to work towards the real change that we believe is possible; change for individuals as well as for the systems that fuel violence. The Self-Care & Social Justice Projects are designed to address this principle; providing opportunities for people to be heard, witnessed, and to become agents of change in their lives and for the community.
Must be able to attend all sessions:
- Saturday, May 22 10am – 2pm
- Saturday, May 29 2pm – 5pm
- Saturday, June 5 2pm – 5pm
- Saturday, June 12 2pm – 5pm
- Saturday, June 19 2pm – 5pm
- Saturday, June 26 2pm – 5pm
