SUMMARY:The Survivor's Writing Group: Poetic Muscle
DESCRIPTION:MONDAYS | 11:00am – 1:00pm. \nSeptember 29\, 2025\nDecember 29\, 2025\nMarch 30\, 2026\nJune 29\, 2026 \nAt HopeWorks\, we use the arts to support survivors in their healing journey. During Poetic Muscle\, we focus on the art of writing as a way to convey our experiences\, process our emotions\, and imagine creative solutions to bring about social change. This four-session\, virtual workshop series includes many opportunities to explore and expand your creative process both in and out of sessions\, through writing activities and prompts that include the use of imagery\, music\, and sharing. Participants will learn about influential poets and the art of poetry\, and will have opportunities to receive ample and positive feedback on their evolving work.
