Teen Volunteer Program

The Teen Volunteer Program is available for teenagers aged 14-18 and/or all High School Students under the age of 18.

The Application Process

HopeWorks accepts and reviews Teen Volunteer applications twice a year; from July 1 to August 15 AND February 15 to March 31.

Please note that currently, we are accepting applications for Childcare Volunteers on a rolling basis.

The application process begins by completing the Teen Volunteer Application Packet, including three (3) references. After the review and successful processing of their application and potential interview, volunteer candidates are invited to attend HopeWorks’ one-day Teen Step 1 Training. The training is designed for learning about the root causes of sexual and intimate partner violence. Trainings are held twice a year in April and September, and are mandatory for all Teen Volunteers.

Childcare Volunteers

Childcare Volunteers help provide much-needed on-site childcare for our clients. Volunteers can play games, read stories, and create art while supervising children during parent counseling sessions or engagement events. Volunteers are needed during the day and evenings, Monday-Friday and occasionally on the weekends.
