CALL 24-Hour Helpline: (410) 997-2272
HopeWorks of Howard County and the Junior League of Howard County are partnering to bring a robust panel discussion to Howard County in honor of Human Trafficking Awareness Month. Together, the agencies invite survivors, social workers, law enforcement, lawyers, and community advocates to come together to share their knowledge and expertise with the community to help bridge support for survivors, unravel misconceptions about human trafficking, and expand support for the movement to end gender-based violence.
Our incredible panelists include Dr. Elisabeth Bowman (survivors and social work therapist), Sgt. James Daly (law enforcement), S. Monique Smith (survivor and advocate), and Briana McNemar (HT Prevention Coordination Council).
The panel discussion has been moved to a fully virtual format via Zoom. The event will also be streamed on Facebook Live.
