Join us as we celebrate the 2024 publication of Dragonfly arts magazine by bringing together incredible artists, poets and musicians for an evening of sharing, connection and joy!

There will be a poetry reading, gallery walk and for the first time featured musicians!

All of our incredible artists offer reflections on life, love, trauma, justice, renewal, and hope.

This FREE in-person evening provides a dynamic opportunity to experience the power of words and the vital role that the arts provide in promoting healing, awareness, and change.

Who is eligible to read their work?

Poets who have been published in any issue of the Dragonfly Arts Magazine are eligible to read at the event. Register to read or RSVP your attendance by emailing ljohn@hopeworksofhc.org. Please indicate your name, title, and the year it was published in Dragonfly.

Open Mic

If time permits, the general public may have the opportunity to read as part of a poetry open mic following the Dragonfly Poetry Reading and Gallery Walk. Sign-up for the open mic will be at the time of the event. Work must be related to the magazine’s themes of relationships, love, self-esteem, trauma, social justice, hope, or the process of self-renewal.
