ARTiculation: expressive-arts peer support & self-care group for survivors with chronic health conditions

December 8 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

ARTiculation: Expressive-arts peer support & self-care group for survivors with chronic health conditions

Many survivors experience chronic health conditions that interfere with the quality of life. During ARTiculation, survivors use the arts to reflect on their experience of living with chronic health conditions that often interfere with the quality of life. We explore ways to live well, be informed self-advocates, address stigma and the health disparities that challenge well-being.

During this session, we will learn about artist Frida Kahlo, the adversity she lived with and the zeal so evident in her writing, paintings and drawings. We will then spend time creating our own fierce messages of truth. Please bring crayons, paints, pastels, collage materials and/or writing materials to the session. This is a free program but registration is required.

This free program meets via Zoom.
