Join the Howard County Office of Aging and Independence and HopeWorks’ Vanita Leatherwood for this five-week workshop series!

Dive deep into your life story to create a mixed-media visual art piece, using found art, fabrics, two dimensional objects, and other embellishments. The creative process includes guided reflection using music, television clips, sharing with others, and expressive writing to create poetry. The workshop series will culminate with an in-person celebratory event featuring the participants’ visual and literary art. No previous experience is necessary.
