The Voices of Survival Chorus Information Session

November 16 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

HopeWorks of Howard County is excited to launch a new arts-based program that heals as it increases awareness about sexual and intimate partner violence.

The Voices of Survival Chorus will feature a choir of survivors, poets, spoken word artists, soloists and musicians who will perform intersectional stories of thriving, joy, oppression and revolution.

The Chorus will first perform at HopeWorks’ We ARE the Light event in April 2025. The Chorus will then continue to be available for events throughout Howard County.

About Choir Membership

If you are a survivor of sexual and/or intimate partner violence (including childhood sexual abuse) and you are ready for and interested in an exciting adventure of community, advocacy and empowerment, register to attend an information session. Only the choir members must be survivors. Other Chorus members do not have to be survivors.
