Together: Revitalizing the Importance of Connection

May 4 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Join us for conversations and activities around being human and searching for belonging.

All ages are welcome to join us for Together: Revitalizing the Importance of Human Connection, a self-care and social justice project! Participate in conversations and activities around being human and searching for belonging!

As humans, we have a physiological and emotional need for connection and belonging. These social ties related to belonging and connection are shown to be protective factors against stress, sadness, behavioral/emotional strains, and show to support resiliency and the ability to cope.

Social isolation and loneliness are growing problems in today’s society. About 60% of people describe being lonely and feeling as if they lack connection. With loneliness being attributed to high rates of anxiety, depression and suicide and social isolation significantly increasing the risk of premature death, talking about how to combat loneliness and build connections is a must.

Join us for activities, games, and conversations!
