Where I’m From: Celebrating Life & Community (A Creative Aging Workshop Series)
A free, public, in-person event for adults 55+
Plan time for yourself with a workshop to spark creativity, community building, self-reflection, and fun! The creative process will include the use of music, television clips, sharing stories, and expressive writing as the catalyst to create poetry and a multimedia-art piece. No art or writing experience is needed. Materials are provided.
This workshop series meets eight times: Saturdays from July 27 to September 14, 2024. Each session meets from 10am to 11:30am at the Non-Profit Collaborative of Howard County.

The program ends with a celebratory event on Saturday, September 28.
What is “Creative Aging”?
“Creative Aging” is a national initiative, to provide older populations with opportunities for artistic expression, social interaction, and enhanced mental and physical health through meaningful engagement in the arts.
