Group Volunteer Projects

Group Volunteer Projects play a vital role in helping us accomplish large-scale strategies for education, prevention and engagement.

The Group Volunteer Program is open to groups ages 10+, with an adult supervisor, and 18+ and up. All groups must include 5 people or more to qualify for the Group Volunteer Program.

The Application Process

HopeWorks accepts and reviews Group Volunteer Proposals on a rolling basis throughout the year. Applications must be completed and approved at least three (3) weeks prior to the start of the project.

Please note that the application process can take up to two (2) weeks to complete.

Due to HopeWorks’ confidentiality process, new group volunteers are not permitted to work directly with clients. Though, all group volunteers are invited to participate in a number of different volunteer opportunities, including participating in one of our arts-based workshops, interactive and engaging role-playing, pantry drives and fundraisers.

If you are interested in applying for a Group Volunteer Project, please fill out the Group Project Coordination Application below and contact Kate Kurlychek, Volunteer Program Coordinator at kkurlychek@hopeworksofhc.org or by calling (410) 997-0304 xt 7731.
