HopeWorks’ Annual Candlelight Vigil

Come Join Us for A Night of Remembrance

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Across the nation, local communities will engage in various campaigns to alert the public about this social issue. On October 7th, we come together to both mourn those whose lives have been lost to domestic violence/intimate partner violence and to solidify our communities in our own capacity to envision a world free from gender-based violence.

It’s more important than ever that we take gender-based violence prevention on as a community issue. Our duties as community members are to protect one another and engage ourselves and youth in the techniques they need to end the cycle of violence. We can only do this if as a community we work to envision the world we want to live in.
